To the Kazakhstani artist Feodor Potekhin eighty years

To commemorate the memory of the artist his descendances organised the nuumber of retrospective exhibitions, articles in the newspapers, printed the post-cards. Also the personal web-site of Feodor Potekhin was created. The family of the artist could preserve best artworks of Master and only because of their enthusiasm, not due to the state authorities, responsible for the national legacy of Kazakhstan, many of the people still remember about him and his artworks could see hundreds of the impressed eyes.
In Almaty, the south capital, the retrospective exhibition of Feodor Potekhin had a big success. The director of Museum of Art named after Kasteev, Roza Zhusupova mentioned that the museum was more than pleased to provide the room to the works of this Master and that it would be great to show his works in other countries, becouse the paitings better than the other words could tell about Kazakhstan.
Feodor Potekhin loved Kazakhstan. Thousand of sketches, hundreds of paintings dedicated to the soth lands of Kazakhstan. Those who knew him personally, remember that he could not stay in the town and always traveled throught the pictorial places of the South Kazakhstan. There is no place, which he not attended. Even in remote vilages people still remeber him.
